What kind of bridesmaid dresses go with a strapless wedding dress?

My wedding dress is strapless, my bridal book says bridesmaid dresses should complement the bride's dress but I don't really want my bridesmaids all in strapless dresses.

1. It is mostly up to you the color the fit they style i think you should do them with straps because if you do them strapless it will look to much like your wedding dress. I am assuming your wedding dress is white so i always think a pretty purple looks good. hope this helped
2. I dont think they have to be strapless. its whatever you want to do about them!:) I always thought that bridesmaid dresses always had to be shorter than the brides. I honestly don't think they need to be strapless. They could be one shoulder strap, or spaghetti strap. Good Luck trying to choose and congrats!

8. You can have the bridesmaid dresses in the same style but in sweetheart ,spaghetti strap necklines,it is on fashion to make the bridesmaid dress in same type but different color,length or neckline.

Generally, bridesmaid dresses should be consistent with wedding theme, complement of wedding dress, etc. But to be complementing wedding dress, it doesn't mean that the BM dresses have to all go the same as wedding dresses, so if you don't want your BM all in strapless dresses, then I'd say just choose other styles as you like.
10. hi for the bridesmaid dress you can choose the V-LINE,or halter neck, it is better to choose strap dress, and also you can add the sash in the waist, that is nice, it will bring out you wedding dress different from them. you can search in the website which online shop can provide the bridesmaide dress, you can see the different style and you will know which one is you best choose. try the buyer 100 website, i think you will have a different feel .
