3. In December I saw a black tiered-skirt (layered skirt with different lengths for each layer) dress in Sears' weekly ad. It was surprising that it looked so sophisticated, much more than the poofy party dresses on websites that people on Y!A were sending each other. It looked to me like a dress that would still be wearable in college.
4. Browse through the short black dresses on http://www.formalxchange.com and see if any catch your eye. I know there are dresses on that site for as low as $15. We got a really nice one for $30.
