  1. You could probably pull it off. Ask for a second opinion from your friends.
  2. NO!!!!!A SLENDER BODY LOOKS BEST IN A STRAPLESS DRESS!YOU MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE!!GO OUT THERE AND SHINE!!!!!
  3. I think anyone can pull of a strapless dress as long as it isn't falling off you. If you are slender i'm sure you'll look smoking hot, just pull it up and don't be afraid of small bust!
  4. yes, for my homecoming i had a friend who was slender and had a small bust and looked great in her strapless dress. it also makes your bust look bigger without it looking like your about to spill out of your dress.
  5. I think small bust is better for strapless because it doesnt seem like ur over exposing. Girls with great upper arms and shoulders can definately pull a strapless... so if u have skinny arms and awesome neckline and nice collarbones and shoulders go for it... you are a slender figure.. everything looks good on ya! GOOD LUCK!
  6. I don't think so. I think they look classy and more 'grown up' because thinner folk tend to look younger than those who are more filled out. (I'm petite too.) To make sure you like the look, try on your dress and have someone take pictures. Pose like you will for your photos on prom night so you know what you'll look like.
  7. no no no and no. I bet you will look gorgeous in it. It is most definetely not the wrong choice, just pair it with a big necklace to exaggerate your bust or consider stuffing your bra ( i did that at the beach once and it COMPLETELY worked).but whatever you do don't use the victorias secret body bras. They will actually only create cleavage and no actuall bust.
  8. Slim shoulders and arms are a must. A smaller bust will actually make the dress look more elegant. I think you have the right figure for it. I am extremely busty and I wre a strapless dress for my wedding. Although I had a nice cleavage, I can honestly say a smaller chest is better in that dress.
  9. I think you'll be okay. I don't think chunky girls or girls with big shoulders should wear strapless dresses. Maybe you should go out and get a good strapless bra though or if you are small enough go without one all together.
  10. strapless dresses were orinally designed by Halston for run way models who were slender and had small breasts... as many models today are. It gives a long line and showcases the shoulder blades without " spill over". So, you made the perfect choice, young lady!!
  11. yes indeed it is possible!! The key to strapless is body proportion, a long slender frame does as well as a fuller figure. Its critical to be equally proportioned the only ones that cant pull it off are small bust larger waist.
  12. To be honest... I never really thought strapless dresses were the most flattering on slender females with small busts. I think strapless gowns look more flattering on fuller sized, bigger busted females. However, at the end of the day when you look in the mirror with your dress on; If you think it's hot, then it's hot!!! If you like it, flaunt it girl... I know with my prom, I found that one dress that I knew I just had to have, and it was something that I never expected myself to get. But I loved it and I wouldn't have traded it for the world. So if that is how you feel about your black dress, you rock it... Have fun!!!
  13. yes a small bust can work it. i think strapless dresses were made for them. if you have big boobs they would pop out all over the place. i cant tell you if you made a mistake. you have to try it on.
  14. Yes, they make strapless dresses for small busted girls. Check out the ones with the lace or rouching in front to add to the bustline. I think your dress sounds great. If you change your mind visit http://www.PromDressShop.com They have the best dresses on-line.
  15. I don't think bust size has anything to do with a strapless gown. Strapless gowns are very popular and look great. The only exception I can think of is if the shoulders and upper arms are NOT an area you would want to show off. Even that though is based on your thoughts about it, not anyone elses! If you try it on, or a similar dress, and it looks good, go for it!
