Cheap Party Dresses

where can i buy a dress form?

i've searched e-bay and online "discount" stores, but all of them are either really expensive or the shipping is astronomical. is there any solution? do tailoring places ever have old dress forms? i'm not looking for an antique one, i'm looking for a useable one, but it doesn't have to be state-of-the-art. the brand new designer-house ones i've seen, even from "wholesale" or "discount" places are still between $600 and $900. yikes! eek! HELP!!!!

3. Try a dry cleaners that also does alterations. Another option may be a fabric store. If they don't have a used one to sell you it's possible they can put you on the track to someone who does. Good luck!
